This summer camp offers your camper opportunities to grow their executive function skills through small group activities, games, goal setting, and practice. We will work on organization, initiating and maintaining focus in the classroom, maximizing attention and minimizing distractions in the classroom, finding inner strengths, building confidence, self-reflection, mindfulness, goal setting, and techniques for combatting test anxiety. This will be a week of powerful skill-building as students acquire tools for success in the classroom and life.

Are you a reluctant reader who is worried about completing your required summer reading assignment? Do you struggle with comprehension? Are you afraid you may not pass the test? During this camp, we will read the entire novel together and prepare for the test! Don't worry...there won't be any homework and no one will be required to read out loud! Don't worry, we will complete graphic organizers together that you may use to review for the test. A copy of the book, Tunes for Bears to Dance To, is included.
