Where are your camps located?
Our camps are located at beautiful our campus off of Johnston Oehler Road. We utilize all of the buildings and fields on campus, but all students are dropped off and picked up at the high school location (4041 Johnston Oehler Road).
Are Corvian Summer Camps open to the Public?
Yes! We welcome students from all schools. We typically have campers from 50+ Charlotte area schools. Register with a friend!
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes. We offer a pay-in-full and sibling discount.
My camper would like to be placed in a group with his/her friend in Day Camp. Is this possible?
If your camper is in the same grade or the grade above or below his/her friend, we will make it happen! Please be sure to make this request when you register.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. During the registration process, you will be able to select from a variety of payment plan options.
Do you offer before and after care?
Yes! We offer extended care options.
I already registered, but want to add lunch or extended care. Is this possible?
Yes! Log in to your CampMinder account to update your registration.
Do I need a car tag to pick up my student?
If your student is in 1st-6th grade, you will receive a car tag, via email. You may print the car tag or show it on your phone during pick up.
What time may I drop my camper off?
Before Care Starting at 7 am
Day Camp 8:50 - 9 am
Afternoon Enrichment Camps 12:30 - 12:45pm
What time should I pick my camper up?
Day Camp 4:00 - 4:15 pm

What are your payment and refund policies?
What will my camper do if he/she does not sign up for a morning and/or afternoon activity?
Day Campers who do not sign up for an enrichment activity will make friends and have fun while enjoying a variety of activities like outdoor play at a local playground, organized games and free time in the gym, retro video gaming, ping pong, foosball, and Pop-A-Shot tournaments, building with Legos, making rainbow loom bracelets, trading Pokemon cards, and so much more!
Is Camp Corvian right for my special needs child?

What should my child wear?
Your camper should dress in clothing appropriate for the camp they are attending. Day Campers should wear or bring sneakers and dress in comfortable clothing. We spend some time outside, so be sure to put sunscreen on your camper.
What should my child bring?
Your camper should feel free to bring a daily snack and refillable water bottle. Students attending camp for the full day should bring a bag lunch if you have not pre-purchased lunch during the registration process. Don't pack anything that needs to be refrigerated or microwaved. Our camp store will be open at various times throughout the day. Campers will be able to purchase snacks and drinks.
Is summer camp "nut free"?
No. However, we do ask that you provide information about any allergies your camper has during the registration process.
What should I do if my child has allergies or a medical condition?
During the registration process you will be asked to provide information about allergies and/or other medical conditions. We do not have a camp nurse, but a staff member will be available to administer medication as indicated by their doctor. If your child needs medication during camp, please complete and return the Request for Medication Administration Form on the first day of camp.
What guidelines do you follow to protect campers from extreme heat?
Like other North Carolina summer camps and child care facilities, Camp Corvian follows the Child Care Weather Watch guidelines created by the Iowa Department of Public Health. To help your camper stay cool, please send your child to camp with a reusable water bottle. Campers will be able to refill these throughout the day and should do so particularly when involved in outdoor activities. Send your child in light-weight, light-colored, loose fitting clothing and apply sunscreen. If you would like for your camper to forgo outside activities due to heat, please speak with the staff during drop off.
What is your cell phone/electronics policy?
We want to encourage campers to enjoy the planned activities and to make new friends. For this reason, we ask that all phones and other devices be turned off and put away. Corvian Community School and staff members are not responsible for any devices brought by students.
What should I do if I have additional questions?
One week prior to the start of camp, you will receive additional information via email. In the meantime, if you have questions, please email our camp business manager Michelle Smith.

- Camp, Extended Care, and Lunch Registrations/Orders are non-refundable.
- Parents may transfer campers to another camp up to 14 days before the first day of camp. Parents are responsible for any difference in fees.
