Get a head start on high school math success with our Math 1 Prep Camp! Designed specifically for rising 8th graders and rising 9th graders who are enrolled in Math 1 for the 2025-2026 school year, this camp equips students with the foundational skills and confidence needed to excel in Math 1.
Our experienced instructors will guide students through key concepts, including algebraic expressions, linear equations, functions, and geometry fundamentals. Campers will engage in hands-on problem-solving, interactive activities, and real-world applications to make learning both fun and effective.

Students will also learn how to approach rhetorical questions, identify common traps, and manage their time effectively during the exam.

Are you a reluctant reader who is worried about completing your required summer reading assignment? Do you struggle with comprehension? Are you afraid you may not pass the test? During this camp, we will read the entire novel together and prepare for the test! Don't worry...there won't be any homework and no one will be required to read out loud! Don't worry, we will complete graphic organizers together that you may use to review for the test. A copy of the book, Tunes for Bears to Dance To, is included.
